All Health Care Work

Faced with increased competition from free-standing ERs, the folks at ETMC Regional Healthcare System needed a campaign to remind residents why ETMC Emergency Care centers are the best choice for minor accidents and illnesses. We responded with “Take me to ETMC!” and partnered with Grasshorse Studios to create four whimsical animated videos packed with name recognition and extra-strength branding.

The folks at ETMC needed a way to connect with a millennial audience and communicate the health care organization’s new positioning statement: “We care for East Texas.” We teamed up with the talented crew at The New BLK to create a series of branded digital videos that provide simple health tips for young people to upgrade their health.



Our friends at East Texas Medical Center needed help. The healthcare system based out of Tyler, Texas, was preparing to launch a new branding statement – “We care for East Texas” – and needed something bold and memorable to introduce it to the region. Never ones to back down from a fun challenge, we created a :30 TV spot full of cinematic flair that follows a day in the life of East Texas – highlighting candid lifestyle and heroic medical scenes.

East Texas Medical Center hails the addition of a new group of physicians to its cardiovascular institute with a multimedia campaign stressing expertise, technology and commitment to a program of outreach that covers more than 23 counties in East Texas. In addition to print ads, other campaign elements include radio, TV, outdoor, social media and marketing to referring physicians.


Created in-house at SKAR, this cost-effective commercial utilized still photos and layered images of ETMC Cardiovascular doctors and staff to create a 3-D effect. Each person was shot individually at different locations to accommodate the medical professional availability and then composed to create seamless images throughout the spot.

You already know them. They’re the “Cling Family” and they appear in numerous iterations on the back windows of vans everywhere. So what better way to let the people of East Texas know that many roads lead to ETMC Urgent Care facilities, with extended hours and care for all members of the family?

When Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte made plans to change its name to Great Plains Health, the organization turned to SKAR for a comprehensive rebranding campaign. Take a look at an example of what was universally praised as a successful rollout.

This SKAR-designed website serves as the main portal for all Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska customers. Users have the ability to access information about policies, specific claims and tools to help make health care decisions. SKAR used the latest UX design tactics and best practices to help customers navigate easily and seamlessly. Claim information is presented in a simple, convenient format using relatable icons and expandable views.
