Title: Production Manager
Here since: November 2016

What do you do at SKAR?
Print production, estimating, traffic … I’m still learning the ropes.

You seem to be very wise in the ways of production. Please explain.
Not sure about wise! I have spent 20-plus years in the printing industry doing plant management, estimating, purchasing and project management. My last 15 years have been in the agency environment, so I feel like I have a good background in production.

What do you do in your spare time?
My wife and I like to ride bicycles when the weather is nice. I also officiate football in the spring and fall. It has been my favorite hobby the last 35 years.

What movie could you watch 100 times?
“The Godfather”

What really pisses you off?
People walking down the middle of a busy parking lot as if there are no cars around!

What does it take to be successful in the advertising industry?
Work hard, play hard and have good balance between home and work life.

What is your biggest fear?
That Captain Morgan will stop producing rum.

What do you like about living in Omaha?
I like the variety of events, the great food choices and the general friendliness of the people.

If you could meet any person, past or present, who would it be?
Gen. George Patton

What was your favorite toy as a kid?
Electric race car sets

What band would you shell out $200 a ticket to see?
Led Zeppelin, if that was a possibility.

If you weren’t in advertising, what would you be doing?
I would probably still be in the print manufacturing business in some way, although I would love to have my own cigar/bourbon bar.

Name someone you admire.
Hard to name one. I’ll name one group, and that would be all of our U.S. veterans.

Name something about yourself that people might say, “Huh, that’s mildly interesting.”
I am a commissioner on the Gretna Planning Board.

Why in the world would you admit you’re a Hawkeye fan?
It is great fun being a Hawkeye fan! We never have to say, “Wait ’til next year,”  because wrestling season is always right around the corner. GO HAWKS, BABY!
