Tell the world what you do at SKAR.
I help out with a number of tasks in accounting. I also run media activity reports and work with the fantastic media buyers here.

Any hobbies?
Work seems to take up a lot of my time. When I have a few extra minutes, though, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, working out and participating in races where beer is served afterward. I enjoy getting outside and taking in nature by running, bike riding or hiking on nature trails. I also like to watch golf and football, and I’ve recently gotten into cooking.

What do you like about working at SKAR?
Love the environment here. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like I’m working at an office. I like the variety of opportunities I have, the way my job challenges me and the potential for growth. Everybody who works here has been so awesome and helpful, which makes for the best learning environment there is. The SKAR Bar is pretty cool too.

Name something you are passionate about.
I have become very passionate about health and fitness. Going through a weight-loss journey changed my life in all aspects. Since I feel great physically, I feel better mentally and emotionally. Being healthy again has brought on happiness and a level of confidence I have never had before.

What was your favorite toy as a kid?
My Polly Pocket dolls. Between my sister and me, we had nearly all of them. I really enjoyed games, though, more than toys. Coming from a family of 10 there was always something to do, though the standard board game usually ended with the board being flipped and pieces of the game scattered about.

Favorite band, food and movie?
Goo Goo Dolls, Mexican and “Gladiator.”

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Hawaii. I’d love to see the beautiful beaches and do some hiking there.

Name something that makes you madder than all get out.
People who are rude, have bad manners or don’t follow the rules or laws. And bad drivers.

What scares the bejeezus out of you?
I’m mostly afraid of any of the scenarios on “Criminal Minds” that could happen to me.  And I’m scared of flying.

If you weren’t so good at accounting, what would you be doing?
I would love to be a sports reporter on the PGA Tour. I’d get to go to all the tournaments and talk to all the golfers.  Maybe I’d get to interview Tiger after he gets his fifth green jacket!
