Nebraska Lottery and SKAR Win Batchy Award

A print ad we created promoting the “Summer of 7s Giveaway” for the Nebraska Lottery won a prestigious Batchy Award for creativity at the 2015 convention of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries.

Mark Carpenter, SKAR vice president of creative strategy and production services, called it an honor to win in the competition of 52 NASPL lotteries from the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

“It’s very difficult to win a Batchy because you’re up against large national ad agencies that do work for state lotteries on either coast,” Carpenter said. “SKAR is very happy that we could assist the Nebraska Lottery in winning this award.”

The award is named in honor of the late Ralph Batch, elected first president of NASPL in 1971.

SKAR has been representing the Nebraska Lottery since 2009. Earlier this year we won a request for proposal to continue as the lottery’s agency of record for the next four years, with an option to extend the contract by as many as three one-year renewal periods.
